Thanks for mentioning that. I didn't know about Dean Drive. A quick read through its Wiki page made it seem like Dean (the inventor) never subjected his device to public scrutiny.

Dr. Woodward of MEGA drive has written peer reviewed papers, sent his unit for review by his peers and is NASA funded. Of course, at the end Dr. Woodward maybe wrong.
